Simon Metcalf FCA - Chairman
Simon is a chartered accountant with over 25 years experience in corporate finance latterly as Vice Chairman of Hawkpoint Partners. He is a non-executive director of The Collinson Group, our parent company and joined the board of PTI in 2003. Simon is a non-executive director of Carpetright PLC, Sports Network PLC and a number of private companies.
Michael Clayden BSc (Hons), FCCA, Dip CII – Managing Director
Michael joined PTI in March 2004. Appointed to the Board in July 2004 and was made Managing Director in February 2005. He is responsible for the company’s operation in Gibraltar and will examine new business opportunities and products in the marketplace. Michael is a chartered accountant and has over 25 years experience in insurance having held other senior management positions with Lloyd’s insurance brokers.

Lorraine Moberley BA (Hons), ACII – Underwriting Director
Lorraine joined PTI in March 1998 as Assistant Manager and became Underwriting Director in February 2005. Lorraine is responsible for the company’s underwriting strategy and insurance operations throughout Europe.

Paul Martinez BA (Hons) – Non-Executive Director
Joined an international broking firm in the city in 1975, and worked in London and Paris in both insurance and reinsurance. He established his own broking firm in 1995, which specialises in French business as well as UK domestic accounts. He became a non-executive director in 1991.
James Costin – Non-Executive Director
James occupied several senior posts in the UK Department of Trade and Industry ('DTI') before taking up a regulatory post as head of DTI’s life assurance supervisory section in 1986. In 1996, he was appointed Insurance Supervisor at the Financial Services Commission ('FSC') in Gibraltar. Since retiring from the FSC in 2002, he has acted as an insurance consultant and has been a non-executive director of PTI since 2003.
